DIGITAL ART SYMPOSIUM 2025

at Viborg Animation Festival

WHEN: September 11th  11:00 – 13:00
WHERE: PLASTIC Cllective – Rødevej 2D – 8800, Viborg DK

While Viborg has earned its name as a City of Animation, PLASTIC MADE – The Recovery Sessions spotlights animation as a cultural tool — shaping exhibitions, essays, and social conversations.

Organised by PLASTIC Collective, an independent group working at the intersection of animation, art, and technology, the event brings together artists using the animated image to engage with history, identity, and ethics.

Through recent works — from audiovisual exhibition  to an animated documentary on neurodiversity, a feature film born out of psychiatric recovery, and an upcoming exhibition at the future Viborg Museum — the session explores how animation can move beyond entertainment.
