Sofie Birch is an electronic composer and sound artist living in Copenhagen.
She graduated from Sonic College in 2015 with a bachelor degree in sound design. Since then she has been working independently with sound and music for art projects, animation film and installation works. Together with Asbjørn Derdau she started Pomfrit Sound Wørks covering two professional sound studios in Copenhagen from where she works with recording, production and composing. Sofie has released two solo albums through danish label Infinite Waves and contributes on various music compilations with experimenting electronic music. Sofie explores music through improvisation, voice experiments and analog electronic gear and has played a number of solo shows around Denmark and Berlin.
