Marcell Mostoha
Marcell Mostoha is a Hungarian animation director and visual artist based in Budapest. With a background in art and animation, his work moves freely between film, music, and visual arts. He values interdisciplinary thinking and often works across genres, exploring abstraction through graphics, painting, and animated moving images.
PLASTIC ANIMATION WORKSHOP 2024
The PAW Residency Program fosters creativity and collaboration among recent graduates and students from The Animation Workshop. This initiative, a partnership between PLASTIC Collective and TAW, aims to support community building, young creatives, and the development of their original projects. In doing so, we are also planting the seeds for future collaborations. July - August 2024
VIBORG UNESCO CREATIVE CITY ARTIST RESIDENCY PROGRAM - 2024
The Viborg UNESCO Creative City Artist Residency Program invites artists to develop digital art projects for publicly accessible spaces in Viborg. Hosted by PLASTIC Collective and The Animation Workshop – VIA University College, this program provides accommodation, financial support, travel assistance, consultancy, and a dedicated workstation. As an Artist in Residency, artists gain access to an exclusive network of international Creative Cities worldwide through Viborg UNESCO Creative City.
