Amalie Olesen is a Danish writer. She graduated as a playwright from The Danish National School of Performing Arts in 2016 and had her debut at Aarhus Theatre same year with The Pure Rooms. Last year her play Insomnia was produced at The National Theatre in Reykjavik and in 2020 her play Mikrobia will premiere at Vega Scene in Oslo and go on tour in Norway. In 2019 Amalie started writing for screen and she is currently co-writing with Martina Scarpelli on the animated opera PSYCHOMACHIA.
